Life Is Complicated! 

The Men’s Ministry believes that the key to success is to keep it “Simple”.  We know that God’s Word is unchanging and holds the answers for life’s challenges.  Therefore, it is our goal to conform to the perfect role model of Jesus Christ by being two things:  FAITHFUL and OBEDIENT!  The Bible is relevant and sufficient for every generation, therefore, we endeavor to support the teaching of the Word and follow the Scriptures as our only rule of faith and practice. 

The activities of this ministry are as varied as those who make up the ministry.  We strive to fulfill the goal of our church which is “Glorifying God and God Alone”.  It is apparent that with each activity and event we organize, our bond is growing stronger and stronger.  We invite you to become a part of our ministry.

Dale City Baptist has been ministering in the Dale City/Woodbridge area
since 1968.  Dale City Baptist’s first service was held at Dale City
Elementary School on September 8, 1968 at 6 p.m., by 52 committed
members.  The first Sunday Morning service was held at Garfield High
School on October 6, 1968.

 On November 26, 1971, a ground breaking ceremony was performed at
the current location of 3501 Dale Boulevard.  The first Sunday service at
the new church was December 17, 1973.

In the history of Dale City Baptist Church, there have been three Pastors
called to serve. The founding Pastor was James E. Duncan who served
from 1968 to 1987.  After Pastor Duncan’s passing, Jeff White was called to
serve as pastor until he resigned in 1997. Perry Jordan, our current
pastor, has been serving as pastor/teacher since 1999.

The “Young at Heart” ministry was established to provide a structure for spiritual growth, mutual support, encouragement and fellowship among the “more mature” members.  This group serves and supports the church in many areas.  Our purpose is to develop a tightly-knit, active group that cares for each other and provide assistance to those with specific needs.  The ministry also plans regular outings to various attractions and points of interest in the local area.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Our mission is to educate youth in the life changing message of the Gospel in order to transform them into disciples of Christ. We offer an alternative to the hazards of the world by showing them the security of Christ and God’s unconditional love, reaching them where they are and loving them for who they are.

Our ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen close friendships with other women, support other ministries of Dale City Baptist Church and provide opportunities to serve and reach out within the community. Throughout the year, the Women’s Ministry hosts several events to encourage women to fellowship with one another and to learn more about God’s plan for their lives.

Join us on Monday, February 27 at 7pm for our monthly women’s fellowship meeting. Bring a snack to share as we discuss our future events while enjoying the fellowship of other Christian woman.
